New York – Appointments Lobby Law Passes Senate
A bill to envelope lobbying for appointments, including judicial appointments, into New York State’s existing lobbying registration and reporting rules was approved by the State Senate on Tuesday following the contentious failed nomination of Hector LaSalle for Chief Judge of the Court of Appeals that witnesses intense lobbying efforts on both sides.
