Anaheim, CA – Ethics Officer Established, Powers Remain Unclear
The Anaheim City Council unanimously approved the creation of an Ethics Officer Tuesday, but have not established what powers the position will have. Instead, the Council has asked staff to present recommendations on those powers after they established the role. The creation of the position comes following a series of scandals that have set off ethics reform efforts in the city and across Orange County.
