Federal – Federal Campaign Contribution Limit Increases for 2025-2026 Election Cycle

The Federal Election Commission has increased campaign contribution limits for the 2025-2026 election cycle. Individual and nonmulticandidate PAC contribution limits have increased to $3,500 for both primary and general elections, with an aggregated limit of $7,000 for a federal candidate; individuals may contribute $44,300 per calendar year to a national party committee; and individuals may contribute $132,900 per calendar year to national political parties for presidential nomination conventions, election recount proceedings, and for the construction or purchasing of building(s) for party headquarters.
