Kansas – Ethics Bill Relaxes Gift Limits for Public Officials

Senate Bill 2060 has passed both the Senate and the House and is currently awaiting the Governor’s signature. If signed, the bill would allow more nonprofits to reimburse politicians for travel to events and conferences and would give more leeway for the executive branch to accept gifted or discounted tickets to entertainment events.
