San Francisco, CA – Ethics Package Placed on the Ballot
The San Francisco Ethics Commission has recently approved an initiative for the May 5, 2024 ballot in response to recent scandals there. The proposal would tighten gift giving rules and disclosure requirements, increase penalties for ethics violations, and heighten scrutiny of the permitting process, among several other comprehensive changes.
